Dr.Sreekanth K S is Professor of Biochemistry at Sree Gokulam Medical College & Research Foundation (SGMC & RF), Trivandrum. He did his Post graduation in Biochemistry from Kasturba Medical College Manipal, doctoral studies in Biochemistry from Amala Institute of Medical Sciences and Post-Doctoral Fellowship from USA. He has obtained MRSC from the Royal Chemical Society, UK. He has been teaching Biochemistry for undergraduates and postgraduates for the past 18 years. He is a Faculty Member of the Medical Education Unit of SGMC & RF and a member of Animal ethics committee. He is a Visiting Faculty of University of Denver, Colorado, USA and is a life member of ACBI, ISAR and ISAR- Milan, Italy. Currently he is the Joint Secretary of ISAR and a reviewer of many scientific journals of national and international importance with several publications to his credit. His areas of research are Biochemistry, Clinical Biochemistry, Vascular Biology, Experimental Cardiology, Cancer Biochemistry, Mitochondrial oxidation & Alzheimer’s disease. He has presented many papers in national and international conferences as invited speaker.
Dr.Annamala.P.T is a Professor of Biochemistry at Jubilee Mission Medical College & Research Institute, Kerala, India. He is a Postgraduate in Biochemistry from Govt.Medical College, Kozhikode and did his PhD from University of Kerala under Faculty of Medicine. He has been involved in teaching and research for the past 25 years and is an active member of many associations like Indian Society for Atherosclerotic Research (ISAR) and Association of Clinical Biochemists of India (ACBI). A very well-known Clinical Biochemist, he is actively involved in diabetic as well as atherosclerotic research. Several candidates have taken their PhD under his active guidance. He is a member of the animal ethics committee as well as the Institutional research committee and has presented many invited lectures in national and international conferences.
He is a gold medallist from Government Medical College Kozhikode, Kerala from MBBS batch of 1975. Dr Geevar Zachariah is a DM in Cardiology. He was the Chief of Cardiology of Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, Thrissur. He has held many prominent positions such as President of CSI Kerala Chapter, Thrissur Cardiology Club, Indian Academy of ECHO Kerala Chapter, Society for Heart Failure and Transplantation apart from being Joint Secretary at CSI National Executive Committee 2012-13 and convenor at Preventive Council, CSI 2013-14 and 2014-2015. He is actively involved in cardiology research. His contribution to experimental cardiology are commendable. He has been a regular speaker of many scientific conferences of national and international importance and an initiator of several cardiology research. Currently he is working as the Consultant Cardiologist at Mother Hospital, Thrissur, Kerala.
