In their report on SERPINA 14 expression from endometrial epithelium in cows with embryonic mortality and aborted they mention that In recent years, many studies have been conducted on SERPINA 14, which is one of the molecules suggested to have a role in the occurrence and continuation of pregnancy. In this study, it was aimed to detect the presence of SERPINA 14 mRNA by the reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) in the endometrium of cows in which embryonic mortality and aborted had occurred. In this way, a novel approach can be developed towards embryonic mortality and abortion cases which lead to significant losses in cattle farming. For this purpose, endometrial biopsy samples were obtained from a total of 30 cows which were embryonic mortality (n=10), aborted (n=10) and normal pregnancy (n=10). The presence of SERPINA 14 mRNA in the samples was determined with RT-PCR. Consequently, SERPINA 14 mRNA was detected in the endometrial biopsy samples of all groups. Therefore, it was concluded that the role of SERPINA 14 in continuation of pregnancy could be related to its amount rather than its presence in cows and thereby the present study should be supported by further studies.. Despite all literature searches, no studies could be found about endometrial expression of SERPINA 14 in cows with aborted and embryonic mortality. They reports in the present study, that transcription of SERPINA 14 RNA was determined in all endometrial samples obtained from cows in which aborted and early embryonic mortality had occurred and which were pregnant. Thus, no difference was found between the groups for the presence of SERPINA 14 RNA. The RT-PCR assay has sufficient sensitivity to detect the small number of targeted RNA. Hence, in this study, detection of SERPINA 14 RNAs in all samples does not provide data about the amount of SERPINA 14 RNA. They consider that the amount, rather than the presence of SERPINA 14 RNA is important for continuation of pregnancy. Therefore, it was concluded that determination of the amount of SERPINA 14 will be more beneficial than questioning the presence of SERPINA 14 in related tissues. A Federal Government move to sideline a $1.9 billion budget cut to higher education courses and push ahead with fee deregulation has failed to sway the Senate crossbench. The measures — fee deregulation and the funding cut — were at the heart of the Coalition's university overhaul, which seemed doomed to fail for a second time in the Senate and have now been split into two separate pieces of legislation. The original bill faced heavy opposition, with only one crossbench senator out of eight publicly prepared to back it — far short of the six votes required. 'Greedy' pair Lukas Kamay, Christopher Hill jailed over $7 million ABS insider trading scam
Former NAB banker Lukas Kamay and former Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) analyst Christopher Hill have been sentenced to jail over a $7 million insider trading scheme. Kamay was sentenced to seven years and three months in prison with a minimum term of four and a half years. Hill was jailed for three years and three months with a minimum term of two years. Supreme Court Justice Elizabeth Hollingworth described the case as "the worst instance of insider trading to come before the courts in this country. She said Kamay and Hill "were motivated by personal greed, pure and simple" and said Kamay displayed some symptoms of "inflated self-esteem or narcissistic personality traits." Kamay pleaded guilty to money laundering, identity theft and insider trading. Co-offender Hill also pleaded guilty to insider trading and misuse of public office.

Facebook has categorized "fully exposed buttocks" and "images of female breasts if they include the nipple" under a list of banned posts in their revamped community standards section. Facebook said that the new guidelines were aimed at bringing "clarity" over what can and cannot be posted on the website, reported The Verge. The social media platform, added that some nudity was permissible "for artistic purposes."
