In their report on Efficacy evaluation of herbal methionine supplement in cows during early lactation they mention that 32 multiparous HF crossbred cows in their late gestation (10-15 days prior to parturition) were randomly divided into four groups. Group T0 (n=8) healthy multiparous HF crossbred cows fed standard basal ration & not supplemented with any synthetic or herbal methionine. Group T1 (n=8) cows fed standard basal ration and supplemented with brand A (20g/ day/cattle), Group T2 (n=8) cows fed standard basal ration and supplemented with AV/BMP/35 (herbal methionine supplement) (10g/ day/cattle) and Group T3 (n=8) cows fed standard basal ration and supplemented with AV/BMP/35 (20g/ day/cattle) from 0-15 weeks post partum. Milk yield per group for duration of 0-18 weeks post partum, milk fat %, Milk SNF % and Milk Somatic Cell Count parameters were recorded during the study at 35th, 70th & 105th day. Results revealed that in AV/BMP/35 supplemented cattles had improved milk production, maintained Fat % and SNF. Results suggest that the AV/BMP/35@ 20g/day/Cattle (M/S Ayurvet Limited, India) was ideal to improve the performance of the cattle. Under their leadership the research area is surely likely to expand beyond the horizons. It will be worthy to explore the further potential under their legacy. K. Hadiya, K. Ravikanth, M.J. Fat % during trial remain constant and bit improved during treatment but statistically not significant shows that the AV/BMP/35 was good to maintain optimum fat through out of lactation. A Federal Government move to sideline a $1.9 billion budget cut to higher education courses and push ahead with fee deregulation has failed to sway the Senate crossbench. The measures — fee deregulation and the funding cut — were at the heart of the Coalition's university overhaul, which seemed doomed to fail for a second time in the Senate and have now been split into two separate pieces of legislation. The original bill faced heavy opposition, with only one crossbench senator out of eight publicly prepared to back it — far short of the six votes required. 'Greedy' pair Lukas Kamay, Christopher Hill jailed over $7 million ABS insider trading scam
Former NAB banker Lukas Kamay and former Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) analyst Christopher Hill have been sentenced to jail over a $7 million insider trading scheme. Kamay was sentenced to seven years and three months in prison with a minimum term of four and a half years. Hill was jailed for three years and three months with a minimum term of two years. Supreme Court Justice Elizabeth Hollingworth described the case as "the worst instance of insider trading to come before the courts in this country. She said Kamay and Hill "were motivated by personal greed, pure and simple" and said Kamay displayed some symptoms of "inflated self-esteem or narcissistic personality traits." Kamay pleaded guilty to money laundering, identity theft and insider trading. Co-offender Hill also pleaded guilty to insider trading and misuse of public office.

Facebook's new guidelines ban images of fully-exposed buttocks, and breasts
Facebook has categorized "fully exposed buttocks" and "images of female breasts if they include the nipple" under a list of banned posts in their revamped community standards section. Facebook said that the new guidelines were aimed at bringing "clarity" over what can and cannot be posted on the website, reported The Verge. The social media platform, added that some nudity was permissible "for artistic purposes." Facebook said that although some nudity may be there for a campaign or artistic purpose, some users in different parts of the world may be sensitive to this type of content. The social media giant added that the restrictions on the display of both nudity and sexual activity also applied to digitally created content unless the content is posted for educational, humorous or satirical purposes.
