In their report on Palynotaxonomical significance of ethnomedicinal plants of Mancherial division in Adilabad district, Telangana State, India they mention that The present study deals with the study of pollen diversity of 30 important ethnomedicinal plants of Mancherial division of Adilabad district in Telangana State. These 30 taxa belong to various families viz., Amaranthaceae, Apocynaceae, Arecaceae, Asclepiadaceae, Caesalpiniaceae, Capparidaceae, Cleomaceae, Combritaceae, Convolvulaceae, Cucurbitaceae, Dioscoriaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Fabaceae, Gentianaceae, Lauraceae, Liliaceae, Loganiaceae, Lythraceae, Meliaceae, Mimosaceae Moraceae, Plumbaginaceae, Rubiaceae, Solanaceae and Tiliaceae (Gamble 1935). These plants have been used by the inhabitant tribes for medicinal purpose to cure various ailments. The pollen of these plants have diversity of morphological characters viz., symmetry, shape, polarity, apertural pattern and sculpture. This diversity may help in authentic identification of various taxa and thus may be useful in taxonomy. Under their leadership the research area is surely likely to expand beyond the horizons. It will be worthy to explore the further potential under their legacy. Prabhakar R., Ramakrishna H., Ganga Kailas J. and Devender R. as valuable intellectuals for the India offer exclusive opportunities for scholars around the world. A Federal Government move to sideline a $1.9 billion budget cut to higher education courses and push ahead with fee deregulation has failed to sway the Senate crossbench. The measures — fee deregulation and the funding cut — were at the heart of the Coalition's university overhaul, which seemed doomed to fail for a second time in the Senate and have now been split into two separate pieces of legislation. The original bill faced heavy opposition, with only one crossbench senator out of eight publicly prepared to back it — far short of the six votes required. 'Greedy' pair Lukas Kamay, Christopher Hill jailed over $7 million ABS insider trading scam
Former NAB banker Lukas Kamay and former Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) analyst Christopher Hill have been sentenced to jail over a $7 million insider trading scheme. Kamay was sentenced to seven years and three months in prison with a minimum term of four and a half years. Hill was jailed for three years and three months with a minimum term of two years. Supreme Court Justice Elizabeth Hollingworth described the case as "the worst instance of insider trading to come before the courts in this country. She said Kamay and Hill "were motivated by personal greed, pure and simple" and said Kamay displayed some symptoms of "inflated self-esteem or narcissistic personality traits." Kamay pleaded guilty to money laundering, identity theft and insider trading. Co-offender Hill also pleaded guilty to insider trading and misuse of public office.
